What do we see?

We see residual waste flows change in the future. Waste stripped of any and all raw materials while still generating maximum energy returns. We see opportunities to reuse or store the CO2 released by incineration. We convert the energy we generate into electricity and renewable heat.

What is our ambition?

AEB processes residual waste produced by municipalities and businesses, extracting as many valuable materials as possible. The remainder is efficiently incinerated, supplying heat and electricity to an increasing number of households and businesses. In doing so, AEB plays an important role in the sustainability ambitions of Amsterdam and the municipalities around us.

How do we do it?

In order to succeed, we have joined forces with partners to optimise waste processing and maximise energy returns. We are always looking for better and more sustainable ways to process waste and generate energy.
