Paul Dirix to leave AEB

After more than four years, Paul Dirix is leaving as CEO at AEB Amsterdam. He is appointed managing director Port of Moerdijk as of 16 January 2023. Dirix: "In recent years, together with all my colleagues, I have been fully committed to bringing AEB Amsterdam from a deep valley to where it stands today. In December last year, the agreement for the sale to AVR was signed. We are currently waiting for permission from the ACM. While waiting for a positive decision, this Port of Moerdijk opportunity came along and I have accepted it in the knowledge that AEB and all its employees have a bright future ahead of them."

Peter Molengraaf, chairman of the Supervisory Board, looks back on a pleasant cooperation. " We are very grateful to Paul for his contribution in bringing AEB Amsterdam back into safe harbour and wish him every success in his new position."
